English name: Lithium difluoro(oxalate)borate
Physical and chemical properties
CAS: 409071-16-5
EINECS:-
Molecular formula: LiBC2O4F2
Relative molecular mass: 143.77
Lithium difluorooxalate borate is a white powder or crystalline powder. Similar to LiBOB, Li+ in LiODFB has a five-fold coordination structure, which can easily combine with other molecules to form a regular octahedral coordination structure. It can absorb moisture in the air to form LiODFB·H2O. Lithium-ion battery research is hot today. The composition and properties of lithium-ion battery electrolyte lithium salt also play an important role in the comprehensive electrochemical performance of lithium-ion battery. Lithium difluorooxalate borate (LiODFB) has excellent high and low temperature performance, wide operating temperature limit and good thermal stability, and has become the most promising electrolyte salt to replace LiPF6
Physical properties: easy to absorb moisture, decompose when heated over 240℃
Product Usage
Applied in the field of lithium-ion battery electrolyte salt. As a new type of lithium salt, it can be used as a film-forming additive in the electrolyte of lithium ion batteries, or used as a conductive salt instead of lithium hexafluorophosphate.
